Please read these terms carefully before using our services
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Aldanca Taxis”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Aldanca Taxis, a private hire taxi operator based in Christchurch, Dorset, licensed by BCP Council.
- “Customer”, “you” or “your” refers to the person making a booking or using our services.
- “Booking” refers to any confirmed reservation for a taxi journey or airport transfer.
- “Journey” refers to any single trip from a pickup location to a destination.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking with Aldanca Taxis, whether by phone, email or through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
3. Licensing & Insurance
Aldanca Taxis is fully licensed by BCP Council as a private hire operator and has been for over 7 years. We maintain comprehensive insurance cover including:
- Full vehicle insurance for private hire use
- Taxi-specific insurance cover
- Public liability insurance
4. Bookings
4.1 Making a Booking
Bookings can be made via our website booking form, by phone on 07969 353484, or by email at david@aldancataxis.com. We are available to take bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
4.2 Booking Confirmation
All bookings made via our website will be acknowledged and confirmed within 24 hours. A booking is not confirmed until you receive explicit confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking.
4.3 Advance Notice
While no minimum notice is required for bookings, we recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability, particularly for airport transfers and journeys during peak periods.
4.4 Passenger Capacity
Our vehicle is licensed to carry a maximum of 4 passengers. This limit is set by our licensing authority and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances for safety and legal reasons.
5. Airport Transfers
5.1 Meet & Greet Service
For airport arrivals, we offer a complimentary meet and greet service. Our driver will meet you in the baggage claim area holding a name board. This service is available at no additional charge and is particularly recommended for first-time visitors.
5.2 Flight Monitoring
For airport pickups, we aim to arrive within a 30-minute window of your flight landing confirmation. We monitor flight arrivals to adjust our timing accordingly.
5.3 Waiting Time & Parking
The first 30 minutes of waiting time after flight confirmation is complimentary. Any additional waiting time beyond 30 minutes may incur a parking and waiting charge, which will be communicated in advance where possible.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 Customer Cancellations
Cancellations are permitted with reasonable notice. We understand that plans can change and aim to be flexible. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or amend your booking.
6.2 Cancellation by Aldanca Taxis
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed booking (e.g. due to vehicle breakdown or severe weather), we will notify you immediately and make every reasonable effort to arrange alternative transport or rebook at a mutually convenient time.
7. Pricing & Payment
7.1 Pricing
Prices for airport transfers and dock transfers are listed on our Airport Transfers page. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are for the journey as stated. For local journeys, pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.
7.2 Anti-Social Hours Surcharge
Pickups between the hours of 00:00 and 06:00 are subject to a small additional fee to reflect the unsociable working hours. This surcharge will be advised at the time of booking.
7.3 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash — payable to the driver on the day of travel
- Card payment — payable on the day of travel or in advance via a secure online payment link
- Invoice — available for account customers by arrangement
7.4 Payment Timing
Payment may be made in advance or on the day of travel, per customer preference. For airport transfers, we may request payment in advance to secure your booking.
8. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup and destination addresses at the time of booking
- Be ready at the agreed pickup location and time
- Treat our driver and vehicle with respect
- Wear seatbelts at all times during the journey (a legal requirement)
- Not smoke, vape or consume alcohol in the vehicle
- Not carry any illegal substances or items in the vehicle
- Ensure children are appropriately restrained in a suitable car seat (please advise us at the time of booking)
- Accept liability for any damage caused to the vehicle by yourself or your party
9. Luggage & Personal Belongings
We offer some of the most capacious boot spaces available. However, we reserve the right to refuse excessive luggage that cannot be safely accommodated. Please advise us of any large or unusual items at the time of booking.
Aldanca Taxis accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle, although we will make every reasonable effort to reunite lost property with its owner.
10. Service Area
Our primary service area covers Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and the wider Dorset area, including but not limited to:
- Christchurch, New Milton, Highcliffe, Sway, Lymington
- Milford on Sea, Bournemouth, Poole, Lyndhurst
- Southampton, Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Hordle
Airport and dock transfers are available for longer distances to destinations across the UK.
11. Liability
11.1 Our Liability
Aldanca Taxis will take all reasonable care in providing our services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the journey booked. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses arising from the use of our services.
11.2 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road closures, accidents, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, acts of God, or actions of third parties.
11.3 Delays
While we make every effort to ensure punctual service, we cannot guarantee exact arrival or journey times due to factors beyond our control such as traffic conditions. We accept no liability for missed flights, appointments or connections resulting from delays.

We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve the matter within 14 days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact BCP Council’s licensing department.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Aldanca Taxis and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
14. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to:
- Use the website for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, server or any connected systems
- Not introduce any viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious software
- Not use automated tools to scrape, crawl or extract data from our website
- Provide accurate and truthful information when completing booking forms
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
